You guys make some good points. I agree with many of them. I don\\\'t believe the logic that if a beats b, and b beats c, then a could beat c. I\\\' m just trying to make the point that full contact and leg kick fights are very different sports. I\\\'m just saying that because you are the best at one , you are not necessarily the best at the other. Case in point: Hoost (along with Aerts) has proven to be the best in K-1. I\\\'m only saying that it has been proven he can be beaten in full contact. Yes the first Theriault fight was a long time ago. The rematch was a little more recent. The roufus fight was not that long ago, and in the first fight roufus handily out pointed him. It was not that close. The second fight Roufus got over confident in his boxing skills and stayed to close. Otherwise he may have won that one too. I agree Aerts is a tough fight for anyone under any rules. His power would definitely give Alexio trouble in full contact. (though I think Dennis has the better chin). As for the Stan - Elmore fight comparison. I\\\'m just making the point that Stan is not a very good full contact fighter. He has a wicked left hook and good leg kicks. In full contact he has only a good left hook. AS for all your comments about Elmore. Elmore is one of the smartest fighters I have ever seen. I was his sparring partner for years before I trained him. He is very deceiving. It looks like he is not kicking hard, it looks like he is slow, it looks like he can\\\'t punch hard. But in the ring you find out differently. I have the tape of the Stan - Elmore fight. I bet i could count the kicks and punches Stan landed in that fight on my fingers. And as you said Elmore kicked him over and over and over and over again for 12 rounds. This fight was not even close. I f you mean Stan made the fight by walking forward getting hit than you are right. I have great respect for Stan as a person and a leg kick Champion but he is not a full contact champ. I went with Elmore to Hawaii when he fought Alexio. Granted this was a different Elmore. Elmore was much older than in the Stan fight. Elmore hadn\\\'t had a fight in 5 years. We really only had about 3 weeks to train before we left for Hawaii. (the same amount of time we had before Elmore left to fight Stan). But Alexio won almost every round. Alexio knocked \\\"Amp\\\" out with 8 seconds left in the 12th round. Dennis hit Amp with the hardest left hook I have ever seen in kickboxing. Amp has a great chin and tremendous determination but he was unconcious before he hit the ground. After the Stan fight amp told me he didn\\\'t think Stan really hit that hard. (of course Stan never really hit him). After the Alexio fight my fighter spent the night in the hospitol for observation. I think I have some serious evidence to back up my opinions. I am a big fan of Mo and Kirk. I think they are the best leg kick fighter and trainer in the U.S. But Kirk told me Mo has never had a full contact fight. They are different sports. That is why I say Dennis would beat Mo in full contact. I think Mo would smoke Dennis with leg kicks. AS for the Alexio Wilson fight. The fight was very close. Wilson had, had flu the days before, Alexio had to lose a lot of weight. It was very early in Dennis\\\' career. Dennis was penalized several points for not getting his kicks in. And you are right Wilson is not really a great leg kicker. He is just a very smart fighter who finds a way to win. I agree Dennis stuck his foot in his moutn when he said he was the best leg kicker. Stan showed him he was not. I simply said Dennis is one of the best full contact fighter we have produced and he deserves respect you guys do not give him.
