Hi Dan, Yes it is WPT gym and it depends what you think is expensive. It is approximately 1200 baht a day for, training, food, and aircon accommodation (with on suite bathroom facilities). However, if you are staying longer you can get a reduced rate (if you want to e-mail me I can give you details). (The lads training in the pictures been there different time periods from two weeks to two months)

The gym is run by Pimu and is really set up for foreign boxers. Although by Thai standards it is on the expensive side, the quality of the instruction is excellent with the additional cost enabling Pimu to pay a range of top former fighters to pad, spar and teach boxers. The gym is linked to Pinsinchai and Look tap au guard gyms (gyms which the owner has strong links with). Currently Thailand Pinsinchai (pictured in the photos posted above), Tapa tak Look tap au guard (beat Pete Crooke in the UK a few years ago), Thai utt (former northern area champion), Sancherng (formerly voted best boxer in Thailand) along with others.

A number of British, Italian, Spainish and some French boxers train at the gym. Top British fighters who have trained at the gym include: Pete Crooke, Reece Crooke, Frankie Hudders, Ashley Guishard, Johnny Roye, Pele Nathan, Damian Hood and Karla Hood. However, you don't have to be a fighter to train at the gym, a number of people attend just to learn techniques.
