For asthma and allergies I sugest reading "You're Not Thirsty, You're Sick" and or "You're Bodies Many Cries For Water"

For asthma he makes a very clear, strong and sensible case of dehydration being a large factor in many cases..

If memory serves he suggests incase of attack, instead of an inhaler, to drink two glasses of water and then put a little bit of salt (sea salt better) on tongue (noticed lugs said something about salt)

If you drink OJ add some sea salt too..

I don't know how serious your attacks get so use logic and look into info if need be. But i'd give it a go for sure
