Mark May had to get out due to some personal stuff,have not seen him since Stan Vs Steve Jez fight in 1998....one of the best fighters I have ever managed real sad to have seen him leave the sport...
Alex Tui Vs Hape Ngaronoa definetly one of the hardest fights I had ever judged in my whole career,they were both good with there hands and feet
Hape had awesome legs he fought like Ian Jacobs...
Hape and Ian Jacobs fought and Ian bet Hape,that is when Hape got sick
and was unable to fight for awhile,it would have been a cracker if Hape wasn!t so sick..like I said Hape had awesome legs.he could kick your head off...
Dave Hedgecock and I were talking in Japan about the old fights and he mentioned Hape as a very good hard fighter and he had style and good legs and hands.......it was Hape!s illness that shorten his career I am sure he would have picked up a World Title.....
Stan Vs Steve Jez was a excellent night there was some very good fights on that night,it was ashame it did not go to air due to the guy that had taped it left the country for a year and he just gave Stan Vs Steve Jez fight,
I will try and chase that guy up and see if he still has the fights of the night....
Grant Barker had some good fight nights at the Cronulla leagues Club
he was a exciting fighter to watch..........
Rick kulu was another fighter that was good to watch from Sydney he fought some wars.........
Neilson Taione another good fighter..if he had off just listen to me he would have made it to Japan to the K1.but wanted to do it his way..had alot of talent but ended up with the wrong crowd......
