Good Luck to the fighters today :
My school has been told yesderday that we are not welcome at this event(Open Tournament) with no explination from the USKBA. Mr Paul Rosner had Angello Dibeela call me and refuses to answer my emails or phone calls.
this has effected so many of my students, families and there friends and I have no explination for them.
I along with my school have always supported the USDKBA and have no idea whay they made this decission.
I am in schock.
Here is a letter from one of my students to the USKBA with no response from Mr rosner . Mr prussick (50 years old)has supported the USKBA for many years and is very upset as we all are.
Hi Paul,
The first time I met you was when my son Curtis fought in an amature kickboxing event that the USKBA sponsored. I noticed how involved you were in the planning and overall direction of the event, making sure the fighters were registered and checked out by the medical professionals, so the would be less chance of injuries when the matches started. I was really impressed when I found out this was really a one man operation and I wanted to join, even though I was not a fighter. I know we have had many of our fighters perform at USKBA sponsored events for the last ten years, many of them were amature champions that became pro champions. I would like to mention a few of our fighters to see if you might remember them: Keith Youngs, John Madden, Ken Hesksi, Chad Destefano, Lennox Chance, John Gilliam and Mean Mina. I know we have many more fighters worth mentioning, but then this would be a real long email and I know you have more important things to do than to waste your time reading long drawn out emails, so I will get right to the point. All of the fighters I have talked about have a few things in common, they all train very hard and are very respectful to the fans and their opponents. Oh and one more thing, they are all trained by Tommy Bottone, who by the way also fought on many USKBA sponsored events, including his own Ring of Fire Kickboxing shows. So Paul, maybe you can explain to me why I took off a Saturday from work on Dec 10, which by the way is also my wife's birthday, so I could go to New Jersey to watch our fighters compete, only to find out that you refuse to let our fighters fight in this event. I am not too sharp, but Mina only had two fights, Julio and Erika had zero. You not only ruined my weekend, but think of the fighters and their families who already took off from work and made plans to enjoy the day watching their sons or daughters of fathers perform. I can't beleive you won't just look at this situation and admit that even if you don't like Tommy Bottone for any reason, what you are doing is not only bad business for the sport of kickboxing, it is also mean and petty. Look in the mirror Paul, do you like what you see? Have a real nice Saturday, I won't...
