Sorry, that was a biggy!

BLZbub, we do have events insurance, we wouldn’t be able to promote in an international Arena like Braehead without it. But unfortunately it did not cover the losses we made because of the weather. Snow comes under the “Act of God” clause, so we cannot claim for the extra costs of the Arena staff or the over-run fee. Nor can we claim for the lost ticket sales because of the weather. We will be settling up with the Arena this week and we are hoping to at least break even. Although this might not seem good for all of the months of work, stress and financial risk involved, considering the events of that day breaking even will be good news! LOL.

Everything about this experience for me has been great and I cannot wait to do it again! Yes, I am mental!

Also can I add, that the response to this thread has been great to! It must have been one of the most popular threads on AX since I’ve been on and is great to see our show getting such attention. I hope the next one is as popular!
