Jordan Tai wins Superleague Austria Tournament

Jordan Tai (New Zealand) has taken out the the superleague tournament in Vienna, Austria despite not starting off in the main draw. Jordan Tai started by winning his reserve bout against Michal Hangsut from the Czech Republic. He then made his way into the main draw after Peter Crooke could not continue following his quarter final bout with Isthan Toth. Fellow New Zealander Hamid Boujaoub lost his quarter final bout against Amir Zeyada. Jordan Tai went on to defeat Petr Polak and Jose Reis to take out the tournament.

In a superfight, Shane 'Choppa' Chapman lost a points decision against Dimitry Shakuta.

Tournament Reserve Fight:

Jordan Tai (New Zealand) defeated Michal Hangsut (Czech Republic)

Tournament Quarter Finals:

Jose Reis (Portugal) defeated Sahin Yakut (Turkey)

Amir Zeyada (Egypt) defeated Hamid Boujaoub (New Zealand)

Peter Crooke (UK) defeated Istvan Toth (Hungary)

Petr Polak (Czech Republic) defeated Foad Sadeghi (Austria)

Tournament Semi Finals:

Jose Reis (Portugal) defeated Amir Zeyada (Egypt)

Jordan Tai (New Zealand) defeated Petr Polak (Czech Republic)
*Jordan Tai replaced Peter Crooke who could not continue

Tournament Final:

Jordan Tai (New Zealand) defeated Jose Reis (Portugal)
