Just to let you know I am very happy with the gelatin...
Its cheaper than most powders out there (that I don't think are worth the money).
I have also been learning more about it etc
Today those of us who eat meat eat only the end organs... the muscles.
If you go back to how we got here we ate much more of the animal, I won't get into internal organs etc (though I think one would do well to eat them yuk). There is alot of goodness in bonem, cartalage etc as well...
gelatin is almost pure protein but the big thing is that its mix of amino acids etc will complement the mix of what you get out of muscle meat.
We are designed and hgot here eating much more than muscle meat (deffinatly not from eating whey protein powders). That said better yet is to make your own gelatin.. but I don't get to that often (read yet).
You could mix it with water, juice, I make mine into jello mostly and then put some in with yogurt. fruit, eggs fopr a snack or lets say i have ground beef or a stirfry i'll had some in and it just melts to liquid. Cannot taste at all...
You could put in tea of coffee if you wanted..
Its reasonably priced too.
Great lakes is a good company-quality is always important.
If anyone tries let us know how you like (no taste lol).
I make jello just cause i'm not sure how long I can leave out-in fridge just goes to jello... I make enough for a few days and just have a little with breakfast and supper etc
I would take most whey proteins for free or even if paid... certainly not a soy!!!
gelatin is perfect to suppliment with meat-home made is better (anyone want to make for me? lol)
