Hi Prior M, Rob, Colin.H & T.Jay
what we are talking about and what we see in these new & old pictures are like jigsaw pieces which can be put together to show the ever growing popularity of Muay Thai in the world up until Present day. (At the beginning of Kickboxing in Australia, there was no media or media coverage like today's that could inform the public about Muay Thai in any way.)

All the people you see in these photos are true legends eg. Nar Songchai Rattanasuban, Kru Yodthong Senannan, Ajarn Pramoj Hoimook, Mr. Chanai Pongsuphar (Khun Tarkoon Pongsuphar's father)and many many more that I have not mentioned.
Songchai has promoted top fighters since the reign of Samart Payakaroon and Kongtoranee plus many more. Kru Yodthong has produced many legendary Thai fighters, with Ajarn Pramoj Hoimook and Mr. Chanai doing just as a great job. Also promoting it for the world to see today.
From behalf of myself, I'd like to give my respect to all of them, especially Mr. Songchai Rattanasuban for his 30th year anniversary. Hopefully his son Siraphop can find this thread and pass the message on to his father.

Apologies to the legendary western trainers, promoters and fighters who have been left out in this part...as we are just talking about the Thai people!
