Placebo is very real it will add to something that works or doesn't. Western med looks at it like it doesn't matter and take it into account with studies etc. I look at it to indicate to me the power of belief and thought and what it suggests about the power we have in our sleves.
Believe and think about what you want and it will greatly help you in getting it!
At least thats what I believe and have experienced lol

Don't worry too much if you get detox signs (can make you feel shitty). Could happen tomorrow or could happen in a year or may never happen...
But keep us posted and enjoy your journey. Now if you start to loose some energy then you may need to change a little.
We are not all the one type for ever and seasons have an affect as does circadian rhythems etc etc
The big thing is learning to listen to yoUr body. Keeping track of how you feel before eating and after (writing it down and what you eat) helps yo look back and better interpret how you feel mentally and energy wise so that you can fine tune and adapt as needed.
Most protein types (there are few hard rules) will tend to need a little more carbs in am and a little less in pm.. but learning to listen to yoUr body will help you balance it out. There is not set amount for anyone. The ratios are a starting point to work from to find out what you function best on!
