Spida-everyone has thier opinion and you're certainly not the first to say he's arrogant. :)

I agree with you totally that physical health is just one part of a much bigger picture.

My take, simply my opinion, is that in lectures Paulos audiance are those in the field, proffessionals, that are suppose to be helping people. He tells it straight as he sees it, no bs and does soften the blow. Some like that and some don't.

Having him as a teacher and asking personal questions and listening to him answer others personal questions, one on one, in small groups or in a class situation I see a much different side of him. I sure as hell don't think his approach is tha same with a client than it is in a class than it is in a lecture.

The teachers at the Inst, including Paul, have been some of the most accepting and loving people I have met and some of the most spiritual in terms of walking the talk in thier own beliefs.

I have seen people ask him extreamly personal stuff...about things that people are scared to talk to with others and seen and heard his approach and response.

Arrogant-well I can certainly see that. Lack of compassion? In a lecture it may seerm like that. He goes hard and looks to me like he is trying to shake up his audience and get them to challenge thier preprogrammed ideas.

When compassion is called for I have to say my experience is greatly different.

I also know a large part of the work he does and the success he gets isn't just to do with the physical body and being able to work with mental, emotional and spiritual issues etc etc is what gets some real break throughs. Dealing with grief and guilt and fears etc etc is a big part of some of the major successes these people get. You don't get that by being uncompassionate. I have seen quite a bit of sensitivity and compassion and love.. Actually the likes of which I have rarely seen.

We have different experiences and interpretations of them. Thats cool. I think he deals with a group of professionals in a certain way. And I know it does turn off many.

In my experience Paul leads an extreamly compassionate live and walks the talk in his spiritual beliefs. Oh he believes hes friggin awesome alright! lol But I also believe he thinks everyone is and should think so too.

I'd invite you to look deeper if you want to challange my statements in your own mind. If not thats cool too. :)
