Leaving your kids in the car was a good thing and not a sign of neglect. Taking the handbreak off while parked on a hill was the worst that could happen.

Being dropped off at a local town park for hours on end while parents were at the pub!

Debbie does Dallas... Dallas, Falcons Crest and Dynasty...

How about the Dalls Cowboy cheerleaders.

Milk Bottles with cream under the lid, not a 50 50 mix of milk and water at twice the price...

Potatoe Chips came in 3 flavors and only three flavors...

Being sick home from school was not a decent excuse but Deer stalking, pig hunting and white baiting with the old man was a liable reason to skip a few days...

2 lollies (candy, sweets) for 1 cent! Now the smallest is 10 cent...

Having a scrap at the bikeshed was no cliche and actually meant having a scrap at the bike shed!!!!

J1, J2, Standard 1, 2 and 3....

Having a Rambo knife in camo colors with a compass, fish hooks and string and stuff...
