depends which toe aswell, i broke a little one and it just healed with time and like hot sizzle says, there's nothing the doc can do. BUT do be careful with the big toe, i broke one of those and the problem was in the recovery, it was more comfortable to wear flip flops due to the swelling etc but i worked in a gym so had to wear proper trainers all day so when the bones reset, they actually formed at an angle pushing in towards the others. its fine now to kick with etc but just looks a bit odd, so if anyone breaks that one, my advice is to risk looking like a twat and wear sandals or whatever's comfortable till its completely healed.
