Hey everyone

Not long home after a great weekend in Newark! Thanks to everyone who supported me and to all in Newark for your hospitality. I really enjoyed my fight with Dean and feel i've proved to all the sceptics regaring my age and how I wouldnt be able to last 12 rounds. No disrespect to Dean but i never felt at any time i was under pressure and didnt have to pull out the big guns and go for the ko, as i have always done in the past! Although i did test Dean a few times with some good shots massive respect to him as he took them well. I was carrying alot of injuries coming into this fight and wasn't as fit as id like to have been, but hey i've done it again and dont feel i've got anything left to prove. Once again total respect to you Dean for stepping into the ring and proving you are a world class fighter.

Also was great seeing some of the old faces again especially Mark Ellwood, was great seeing you again mate, hope we can keep in touch.
