YES you are so right and you have had me baffled trying to think of your identity but never the less you give an opinion of which many dont understand. This is sports entertainment which means you do require the complete package at the top. Every new fighter requires a story of some sort for the marketers that be to play on it. TV requires more than just a good fight it requires a point of interest.
Last years Grand Prix was a prime example of this with the new commers.
Ruslan Karaev explosive, entertaining, attractive, win or loose his fights appeal to TV yet they played on the poor Russian boy who they helped up.
Chalid De Feist same attributes as Ruslan and they played on his success as a businessman who didnt have to fight but wanted too, infact they almsot had more footage of him in his lamborghini and office than his previous fights in the build up.
Badr Hari as much as people dont like his arrogance ARROGANCE sells in the fight world and he does it well and sells himself well. His KO defeat and scuffle in the press conference has been used as his comeback. Like him or not the guys an entertainer and he can fight.
