Hi Chalky, I have asthma, i use the ventolin and becotide inhalers, i have had mild asthma since a child its never really held me back just sometimes slowed me down a little. I remember once asking my doc what can i do to make it better? he said there are a 101 things you can do to help control it but ultimatley nothing to stop it!!! Have you ever tried the bubble (not sure of medical name) its like a plastic tube your inhaler fits in one end and your mouth around the other, this keeps all the medication once sprayed in the chamber and none escapes so you get the full dose, since I took my inhalers like this i have noticed a further improvement, i dont carry the bloody round with me, just use inhalers as normal but find i need them less.Your training will defo help tho mate, and with an instructor whos big into fitness you cant go wrong really!
