All and every single fighter showed great fighting spirit and even just jumping in the ring would scare the average ordinary carrot chomping couch trainer.I wrongly assumed all of them except Peck had had only ten fights or less but not so.The first thing a trainer teaches a student is their stance and guard. The first thing a fighter does when under pressure and wanting to stand up and fight is to forget that guard! Leamy would have loved his weekend and learnt firsthand what its like to take part in an eightman. Next time he will be walking on familiar ground. He took a knee and a high kick. Ive seen some "fighters" whose "Guard" made sure they never got hit by simply staying at home!.Pecks high kick is a deceptive one. Looks like it is going somewhere in between a low and mid level and just diverts its flight path and chops the neck/head.Guard against that one mugsy
BUGS.you have really got to stop slagging off at the trainers and their fighters. They spend hours and hours on their fighters preparing them for not only the ring, but how to handle the travelling, the press, the weigh-in,the pre fight hours, and in a single moment you just stab them in the heart.Just Dont do it man.Beleive it or not these guys actually have been involved in the sport at the highest level as both fighters and trainers. When a fighter makes a mistake he generally knows straight after the blow lands and Felise knew he was beat and i dont think he ran because he was scared in the least.Have you ever taken repeated kicks to the area to the side of the knee where the tendons and ligaments are? after 2 hard fights just prior to that? Take a day to think about these things, before you start offending anyone ok.
