Heya, well iv tried chinese herbal painkillers n sum ointments 4 injury n thought they were s*** (well the ointment was in a fancy bottle, but was no different than mainstream products) and the painkillers didnt work at all lol.
But other people can and do have success with chinese medicine so its worth a try. I went to a store called 'Dr and Herbs' its an international chain i think but if you do decided to give it a try u might notice the products dont have prices and its easy for you to be too trusting about what ur actually buying when all the packaging is in chinese!
When i went 2 dr n herbs i had to fill out personal info and state why i was there b4 the doctor would see me; part of which was 2 state ur occupation- i think this is how they determine what to charge 4 anything u buy.
Chinese stores appear to have a strong belief in accupuncture,so they might recommend that for u; i have also had accupuncture on a leg injury but at the physio n wud defo recommend it if a doctor suggests it as it can be used for many injuries and doesn't actually hurt which I found surprising & u do feel a but high afterwards lol! :-) KAT
