Some times external influences have an impact upon any decision we make in life. why would any one imagine a decision might not swayed in line with popular opinion.

I am in no position to judge the fight as I was not paying judging levels of attention and have no right to question the decision of this fight. Judging is a subjective art, that has each judge offer their interpretation of the action played out before them. Each offering a unique perspective from their viewing angle.

Tim enjoyed the mantle of aggressor for the earlier rounds and looked strong. but as it was pointed out to me. we score techniques, strikes and effect. not facial expression or demeanor of the fighters.

What is a fact though is the job of judging that fight, in that venue, with that partisan crowd in support of a local hero was no picnic. and respect to those judges for accepting the job.
