BRITISH INDEPENDENT KICKBOXING RANKINGS
(as of April 08)
One point of discussion this month sees the return of Marty Cox Jr to the rankings at number 1, a position he has held before. It is felt that the prior career record of Cox added to the nature of his victory in his first fight back against highly ranked Barinder Singh makes him worthy of the top spot, although we understand that some will feel this is unfair to previous number 1 Andy Burton. A fight between the two would certainly be welcome.
Gary Hamilton has also been ranked at number 3 reflecting his recent return to action, it is hoped this will mark the start of more regular activity for Hamilton and that bouts against the other highly ranked British fighters can now be made.
