Great to see the rankings have been updated and my first point I was happy about is I wrote about Aaron Robinson as Sub Editor to F/C several months ago in Fighters magazine in a profile saying he was the next guy to watch! He has just come of a credible win over Jason Curtis, a top class fighter, proving his worth. A great guy who is cool with it all and just gets on with the job in hand. Well done Anvil!

Another prediction for the future……we will be seeing an awful lot of the young Daniel Winstanley from Bulldog Gym. I watched this guy at a show I went to and as an undercard he was easily the best fighter of the night. He turns 18 in December so watch out!

Greg Darmon still doesn’t feature in the rankings as yet but soon to fight No 3 placed Ricky Gammon in the 75kg category this could be a real top fight to watch! Both hard both skilled, well schooled and dangerous.

Ryan the “Hammer” Hamer is to face Lewis Patterson in a WAKO Pro British title defence in May. A win here will allow him to go on and finish off his career at WAKO Pro Euro and World level before he retires(Not underestimating Lewis skill of course). Patterson beat No1 Nick Gill and as it is proving difficult to match Hamer and Gill perhaps this will at least gauge Hamers full potential?

Kerry Louise has been training heavy and hard and has now officially moved up a weight, suited as a 67kg fighter she now lays 2nd in the 68kg section, having beaten Rachel a few years ago it now appears the re match is imminent for Kerry Louise to take the top spot. The challenge has been put forward. Would be nice to see her coach the great John Shiels defend his WAKO Pro title also on the same show.

So well done guys, keep up the hard work with the rankings, hopefully again they will produce some top level fights, saying that:

I will put on and sanction a show at a time to suit the following people so these fights can go ahead. 5 Class fighters plus Johns opponent who would obviously be credible.

The “Hammer” v Gill 10 round minimum as per TS’s request.
Kerry-Louise v Rachel Ealey
John Shiels WAKO Pro title defence.

Regards C ;-)
