Well done to everyone who contributed to a great day sum great bouts had sum great feed back from the sponsors so well done to you all. A excellent day all round.

A special well done to the Higher Level team, all 16 of you competed supperblly and gave excellent performances all round and 3 more championship belts.

IKF British Champion Richard Callaghan successfully defended his title and is now also the new IKF Middle Weight Commonwealth Champion with a great knock out stoppage in round 2.

Former AKA Counties Champion Nathan Royle competed for the IKF British Light-Heavy Weight title and won convincingly with a 1st round outclass and a great performance.

Dan Taylor stepped up a level to defeat the vastly experienced Paul Quayle former AKA & IKF British Champion and AKA Intercontinental Champion to become the new IKF British Cruiser Weight Champion. A great display from both players, well done to you Dan.

Thanks also to Neil Holden and his team, Dave Eckersley, Pele Nathan, Ronnie Green, Tony Dean, Steve Pender and the rest of the Higher Level event team for making such a great show and also thanks to all the Instructors and Players for all your support contributions.

I’m off to Marbella now for a much needed break then back to training next week ready for the IKF World Tournament Championships in America where hopefully I will be adding some more silverware to our ever growing trophy cabinet at Higher Level, onwards and upwards. ;o)
