The power of the mind is HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nazi's did placebo operations with Jews etc that need surgery. They knocked them out, cut them open and stitched them back up without doing the op. If memory serves they had a 64.5% success rate.

Placebo is not to be taken lightly.

No matter how well soemthing does work physiologically, belief it will work will had to the effects. Studies have been done that show if the practitioner or doc believes it will work chances are better it will. Patient believes, chances are better, both believe, then chances are best.

With acupuncture, like everything else, there are better and worse practitioners. There is also western and eastern approaches. medical studies on acupuncture will also likely be funded by the medical community... biased money.

Ihave had positive experiences with acupuncture and no results... its largely who you go to and what it is for... partly mental and partly what works for you in my opinion.
