Hi Chelsea John,
Like you I'd love to know what some of these guys are doing now another reason for my putting so many pictures on this thread,I'm sure there are many more of you out there with some great pictures/stories to share,and you're right Phil Mayo did do a great deal for Kickboxing during the eighties,the CKO instantly reminds me of Phil Mayo.
This was taken during a trip to Belfast around 1989/90 for a defence of my ISKA title pictured alongside Phil Mayo is Irish Kickboxing legend former ISKA World Champion Billy Murray from Belfast and Robert Masterson very well known for his refereeing skills and his appearance in 'The Karate Kid III' if he ever sees this he will know what I mean!It was a shame we never saw more of Billy over here as he has done so much for Kickboxing and still works extremely hard coaching and promoting.
