do you know why the dutch fighters were superior then the others and started in actual kick boxing and thai boxing?...

ı think due to one simple reason :"effectivness&domination of kyokushin karate at that time in holland!..(bluming's efforts in kyokushin...)"

although most of the kyokushin guys never and still not accepting the reality that the kicks,blocks,knees are derivated from "muay thai", it is correct that they have taken from this discipline and put to themselves...so, it was easy for most dutch pioneers to switch first to kick boxing with low-kicks (japanese type,kurosaki gym )...as example ,if ı am not mistaken "lucien carbin" was an excellent kyokushin fighter...
