If he gets hurt that is his look out, people have advised him hes out of his depth. My main concern is that some fighters would get a really easy way through the tournament. Not that the contender tournament was easy for any of the fighters but I did think Jordan Watson had the toughest route through from the start.

But then there is that element of an outside chance that cant be denied that make something like this interesting. If Jonno's (or whoeever else is an outsider) camp is advised of the the calibre of fighters in the competition and the promotor is happy and the camp is happy then they all grown ups, they can do what they want. There are so many variables in a tournament that im sure your more aware of than me.For example a high calibre fighter taking a real hard fight in the first fight and getting badly bashed and losing to someone of a much lower calibre to someone like Jonno just cause he might be potentially fresher in a later stage of competition. These are the associated risks surely hence a higher amount of prize money etc and it also not counting toward the official rankings?
