Death of a Kickboxer

Well known talented Kickboxer Sean Gallagher had his young life cut short this morning (Sat 30/1/10)
Sean (24) and his dad John (59) from Ramelton, were
travelling back from dropping Sean's girlfriend to the airport on the
Slab Road in Burt, Co Donegal.

The pair came from the small community of Ramelton in Co. Donegal.

The two car collision happened in icy conditions on a notoriously
dangerous stretch of road at the junction of the N13 and the Slab Road
in Burt.

Driver John Gallagher and son Sean, who was the front seat passenger,
were killed instantly.
Sean was very well known throughout the Kickboxing community in Ireland and was the assistant instructor for the Donegal Black Dragon Kickboxing Club under head coach Joe Wilson.
Sean leaves behind his heartbroken mother Hilary and three sisters Aisling, Aoife and Ailish.
He will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him especially his coach and mentor Joe Wilson and his wife Amy and all his friends and clubmates in Black Dragon Kickboxing.
God bless you young man and may you and your dad John rest in peace.
