Dear Coach/fighter,

I will be hosting the O‘B fight event in the Johnstone Town Hall on Saturday 3rd April 2010. For this show we are looking for fighters at all levels A‘class B‘class, novice and juniors. With around 500 spectators this is a medium sized show and is an ideal show for first time fighters. I realise that this year Scotland has a hectic fight calendar but if possible could you please give me names, weights & experience of any fighters who want to take part in this event?

Weigh in and medicals will commence at 4pm, Weigh in official is Mr Stephen White (07825 253496) and all clubs should have their own representative at weigh in. Please make sure fighters bring their fight licence to the weigh in (No licence No Fight). Please take note that only fighters, coach & corner men will be allowed in the premises during weigh in. The doctors for this show are Dr. Robertson and Dr.Robertson who have a wealth of experience covering fight events; a paramedic will also be ringside. The referee for the night will be Mr Frank Watkins.

Doors will open to spectators at 6pm with the first fight commencing at 7.00pm. I shall pay each adult fighter £50 in travel expenses (as per Scottish promoters agreement) apart from A‘and B‘class fighters whose purses will be agreed in advance. Ticket commission will be:-
0- 10 tickets no commission, 11- 20 £2, 21-49 £3 and 50 plus £4.
Bouts will be fought under Scottish Thai Boxing Association rules and regulations, if you require a copy please let me know. It would also help if you could let me know in advance if you require a particular song played for your ring entrance, providing a copy of it on C.D two weeks prior to the show would be even better.
If you need any further information please feel free to contact me at any time and many thanks for your support.
Yours faithfully,
John O‘Brien
