its important to recognise definitions here.

a split decision is not forced to be a dramatically shock horror result

for example judge A give the fight a draw over 4 rounds and the last round to Blue. judge B give the last round to Blue corner and Judge C gives the last round to Red. A close fight resulting in a split decision.

Whats happening here is people imagining split means land slide decisions in favour of contrasting corners....that may not be the case.

What i do want to see happen is that in future scores read out with the judges named for A class fights and on lesser fights judges named and their results announced as a corner colour.

ie; A class fights mc announces "Judge Kev ward scores 48/47 in favour of the blue corner" etc etc.

C and B class bouts mc announces "Judge Kev ward scores the bout in favour of the blue corner"

total transparency no hiding total professionalism
