Jonno, your support is much welcomed as if everbodys.
And many thanks to Hawkman & Raymond on your comments.
This is Faith based, not religous. and for me that faith is christianty.. I agree with your comments re the catholic church Hawkman, who is going to trust them. but being a christian is not about being religous, a mistake often made... Being a catholic, protestant etc, these are religions.
In my faith , God does come first, and my faith lets me believe in the power of prayer, not some in some religous organised & institutionalised worship and its rituals.... But I am not here to convince you about that. it would take me to long to explain it.
we all have faith, faith such as I am going to win my next fight, even though we dont see it, we believe it and train for it !!!!
"faith is the confidence that what we hope for will actually happen, it gives us assurances about things we cannot see"..
On quote I use with some fighters..... God is my rock, He has prepared my hands for war and my fingers for battle....... even Ali said, "if God is with me, who can be against me"....
Anyway, Fighters against Child abuse is standing for all abused children, world wide from any religous, non religous creed or background, we are all created equal... We want to end the abuse, not only through prayer, by standing side by side with the abused, letting them no, there is a place where they will be heard..
In Ireland, its all to common for something like this to swept under the carpet and sure it will go away. But this is a world wide issue, in all communities.. and We will stand together..
