Tiger Woods was a golfer
actually Mickey Rourke in real life was a potent reference, a man who lost everything he had and was living in a trailer due to his issues, prior to that film.
Dont underestimate the power of the mind- what i understand is how low it can sink you....then how high may it take you?
The latter is still my quest. ive had depression for 20 years on and off, been in and out and on every med.I dont feel stigmatised at all, but the only people who would never admit to anyone was my own family!
Everyone else could see it. Same with ricky hatton. you can judge me if you like, but what is sanity exactly anyway?
The brain is a complex organ of multiple chemical balances, same as the kidney or liver. In fact those 2 organs play way more part in keeping you alive.

Last thing those at their bottom ebb is others comparing them to those gone before, George Best , Janis Joplin examples ad infinitum.... Every story is personal.
Everything has its origin. rickys depression and addiction did not start after his boxing retirement. You need to go back years to find out why his dedication (dependance) and his lapses (compensation) maybe this goes back to when he was 4 /5/6 years old?
Yes i think he s twat because of his press conference with PBF, but didnt before. And i dont think he s a twat because of his addictions. I can understand his failings.
