i dont know why your guys from k star feel the need to over protect damien, first off i was speaking to the organ grinder not the monkey on his back! its not like i even said anything bad about him, 70 fights in the uk is equal to 150+ fights worth of fight training in thailand due to fighting less frequently here, in a way i do know what you are saying and i agree that you can always switch things up, after so many years together with damien and mr logan i cant imagine there is much steve can say now or work on now that he hasnt already done before many times over. damien is in the twilight of his career anyway you look at it, will he be learning much more in the next 3 years that he hasnt already learnt in the previous 15+ years, i honestly doubt it, its not an insult its logical, you improve at a faster rate early on in a career and plateau in the later stages with mainly polishing things that you have learnt, no one had may aswel pack in because they are not learning as much, why would they most people train to fight not to learn, if you studied maths for 15 years and were at masters level would you expect to learn as much as you did in your 15th year of studying as you did in your fourth year of study(i doubt you would or could and lets face it muay thai is not as complex as maths, it is known for its easy to use strong technniques, i also know there are very advanced techniques too), also to class liam and damien in the same stage is not right either, liam is 25( i think) right in his prime he regularly trains in thailand and with other coaches with new ideas, does damien(i really dont know), im sick of argueing on here all the time, its getting boring. i actually thought it was a great fight.
