Joe Schilling captured the interim WBC Muay Thai Super Middleweight National Title on March 5th via TKO of Chase Green in the first round. It seems that Schilling is looking to jump into deep waters now.

Sources have informed Muay Thai Authority that a possible bout with former WBC Muay Thai world champion and K-1 veteran Kaoklai Kaennorsing could potentially take place at Stand Up Promotions August 13th event "World Class Championship Muay Thai" which will take place at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. The event is rumored to feature several promising bouts including a potential match-up between Kevin Ross and Saenchai.

If the fight ends up happening it will undoubtedly be the biggest fight of Schilling's career. Kaoklai is a world class Muay Thai fighter, and Schilling will definitely be entering the fight as a heavy under dog. If Schilling were to pull of the win it would be a huge career boost. For fans not familiar with Kaoklai make sure to visit You Tube and look him up
