Muay Thai, Neph. Coming up for 18yrs now. Prior to that, amateur boxing. I've never been top-draw,I'm not the toughest kid on the block, I've had a couple of Inters and thats it, but I've been around boxing in one shape or another from my teens to present day. I'm 46 yrs old now.

I love the sport with all my heart but would put my house on Tyson beating an equivalent Thai-boxer.

I was probably watching MMA or UFC (circa the Gracie Bros) when you were sucking yer mothers nipple. Granted I dont, nor have never trained in it, but our gym is co-rented by MMA guys and I have seen a bit of their training.

Now don't go off on one about being Captain MMA or something like that. Whether I train in Thai, Judo or Crochet patterns .... I have an opinion, the OP asked for it .... and now you know what it is.

It's like asking the age old Ali v Tyson question, there's no correct answer, only opinions. Well, you've got my side of it, roughly 30+ years of knowledge. I'm no expert at all, and don't claim to be. Whats your sport and pedigree Neph ???
