I am pleased to announce that the scheduled bout between Jamie Bates and Marlon 'the Game' Hunt, will take place on the 19th November 2011 at the Northumbria University's 'Dominion' Conference & Exhibition room, Newcastle upon Tyne.


So far, with the exception of a few minor details to finailise, a preview of the card is:-

- JAMIE BATES VS MARLON HUNT 12X2 PRO FC- Vacant WKF World title

- JAMES WATLING VS SHAUN LOMAS - 7X2 MINS FC

- RICHARD 'assassin' CARR (Aiki, Newc), 65KG VS TBA
(Carr is current WRSA area amateur champion searching for English 5x2)

- ROB WARD, Newcastle VS MICHAEL MANN - 3X3 PRO K1

- STEVE STRINGFELLOW VS TBA - 3X2 MIN PRO K1
(Stringfellow is experienced pro mma looking for first k1. No
previous ring sport experience)

- STUART HARKER, 70kg (Steel City, 'Boro) vs TBA
(Harker is former WAKO British Am Champion)


K1 - amateur / C-class 8-Man Tournament
- Still a few fighters short for tournament. Need 71-74kg.


Boxing - semi-pro (sanctioned by British Masters Boxing Org and British Boxing Union)

- Eric 'the Viking' Thompson (Sund) vs Micky Cotcher (wallsend)
Super-heavuweights

- Jimmy McCrory (Wallsend) vs TBA
(McCrory is BBU English Cruiserweight champion)

- Chris Bennett (Newc) vs Haydon Price (Bishop Auck) rematch
