i'd never get an indirect flight to thailand, how cheap can u get, even when i fly with my family it's direct, 12 hours is enough on a plane never mind having a trip to the middle east thrown in as well
i used to only fly british airways, best service and on that can't be beat, thai airways are ok but a bit dated, eva suit me with their flight times and entertainment
ba has personal screen and as i remember scheduled showings of entertainment, thai airways has shared tv's in the aisle withshceduled showings, pita, eva has a personal screen and as i remember on demand, so if you've slept you can watch what u want when u want
all 3 airlines offer free food and drinks on board
if i had to fly indirect it would be klm or air france as they are straight to amersterdam/paris and then bkk but if you're flying solo best to go direct
sandy you would still have to arrive at least 2 hours, 3 hours before your non direct flight at manchester airport, then you've your traveliing time to that airport, then waiting time in middle east, then flight time from middle east to bkk and then you're stuck in traffic getting to your hotel, so essentially you're going all the way to the middle east twice just to save a couple of quid, that's not my idea of relaxing or a holiday especially for 50-60 quid total, seems really cheap, understandable if you was married with 4 kids, mounts up then but for a bachelor like you at your age seems cheap, do they call u charlie in los :)
