from `your` house to the airport ? = how long? 50 mins
from arriving at the airport in taxi ? car ? train whatever to boarding plane 2 to 3 hours 3 hours max (i always book my seat online)
then a "Direct" flight for YOU guys in London is 12+ hours flight from london heathrow on EVA or Thai 10hrs 45mins out 11hrs 30mins back
then you have to leave plane and que up at Damn Customes VBisa / passport control 1hr ish and then Collect bags and then get out of airport and then get a Taxi? 1hr ish or train? bus etc: to your hotel etc: hiow longs that in Bangers traffic??45minsto 1 hour
i will bet ya TAT3 its approx 18 to 20 even for you

Sandy its just aswell im not a gambling or that would have been the easiest tenner ive ever made ... i have done it in about 16 hrs 30 mins (fair enough everything was nonestop and straight thru with not one hold up)

Re; flights i have a very good contact who ive used for as long as i remember and done them all .

EVA cheapest
Thai best 1st Class by a long way (treat like royalty).
only flown indirect once NEVER AGAIN that was a mix of emirates and Qatar ... both pretty much the same .

So Sandy yes it can be done quicker than you said so please feel free to put that tenner in a poppy sellers box or in a kids charity box .

P.s when you are lucky enough to fly first class the check in time is also reduced .
