Ky Hollenbeck vs. John Wayne Parr expected to take place at Knees of Fury 36 in February

American Muay Thai standout Ky Hollenbeck has faced a slew of talent this year and it seems things won’t slow down for him in 2012. Hollenbeck is expected to fight Australian Muay Thai legend, John Wayne Parr at Knees of Fury 36 in Australia in February of 2012.

Hollenbeck has confirmed that he will be fighting John Wayne Parr, although no official announcement from the promotion has been made. The date for Knees of Fury 36 is tentatively set for February 25th.

Hollenbeck had a breakout year in 2010, winning the Muay Thai Authority 2010 Breakthrough Fighter of the Year award. In 2011 his fast rise up the Muay Thai ranks continued as he collected victories over some top talent from around the world. His 2011 campaign ended with a loss to Nieky Holzken, but the 5-1 record he posted for the year includes wins over Gregory Choplin, Simon Chu, Jordan Watson and Vuyisile Colossa. He also captured the WBC Muay Thai interim middleweight world title in his victory over Choplin.
