I have met Nathan and spoken to him on the phone and he is a genuinely good bloke. He has a passion for Muay Thai and his family and he is standing up for women in Muay Thai in what is predominately a man's sport.
They are a really great family unit and what a lot of people do not know and I hope Nathan won't mind me bringing this up, is that they lost their home because of their dedication to the sport and the lack of investment they didn't get back. Like a lot of people they have had their struggles.
They often say behind every man their is a great woman, well in this case behind Julie Kitchen there is a great man. A man who bleeds from the soul for his wife and kids, has gone through hell and back. Politics aside, Ax rants aside (justified or not) this man is one of our own, a part of the Muay Thai family, so cut him some slack and start backing him up.
Shame on those that feel the need to bully on here, stand up like men and know what you are saying is hurtful. What do you hope to gain from it? Does it really feel good to say bad things about someone, do you really mean what you say? Is your soul really like that. I am sure if you looked at it you would know that you are not really that nasty, why would you be?
Give Nathan and his family some respect, look at what he is doing for Muay Thai, for women in Muay Thai and what they have achieved.
Don't just get behind Julie on this, get behind Nathan too, he needs support, he drives Julie forward, they are man and wife respect them for this.
They are a part of us - a part of our Muay Thai family.
Now, I have given you a reason to have a go at me if you would like a nice diversion ;-)
With respect
