I admit I did laugh at this but I do wonder how farang fighters in general would react if they were given abuse by top Thai nak muay.

I'm not saying this to offend but more often than not when our top fighters are competitive against Thais it is when the Thai is jet-lagged, fighting out of his comfort zone and giving away weight.
If this wasn't the case then there would be far more western/farang stadium champions, the fact that there aren't should tell the difference in how Thais perform in front of their own crowd and without giving away all the weight that they do.
Imho many fights would have completely different outcomes had they taken place in the actual stadiums of Thailand and that doesn't necessarily mean that the fights would need to be contesting a belt

I think the guy was different, I wouldn't want him as a coach but he did seem to want to help people albeit in an uneducated manner.
Some of his videos looked like he'd been a gym somewhere although it sounded like he'd taught himself Thai from books

I think it's a shame that he was targeted and subjected to a form of bullying. I think it's also sad that an ex policeman is selective in his application of the law in would I can only interpret as turning a blind eye to friends dubious acts.

There was mention of this guy committing "fraud by false representation" yet there was no mention of this legislation/law against a well known numpty that was looking promote his illegal tours, presenting himself to a UK audience as a tour guide when its a known fact he has no official papers granted by the Thai authorities to work in Thailand within this role.
The fact that he was looking to defraud people by false representation with his claims about himself and locations and distances, looking to fleece unsuspecting victims whilst being given the support of the MT community simply because he offered an incentive in cash-back to anyone that presented him with victims/students (it would be your own students/friends that were paying you that cash-back)

Then there's the case that this whole episode seems to have turned into a mass form of online bullying with an ex-policeman(possibly active) taking part. I'm quite sure that harassment & online bullying are illegal and have had some headlines of late as a result

I sincerely doubt that anyone that has harassed or mocked this guy promotes themselves as a bully and I genuinely suspect that most promote themselves as running family, friendly gyms that don't tolerate any forms of bullying

For all the flack regarding my use of a nickname online I find it strange that so many trained martial artists/fighters/coaches would conduct themselves in this manner with no thought for the consequence of their actions.
There's often talk of cowardice on this forum yet it's generally accepted by the masses that bully's are cowards and pick their victims

Its all well and good saying you are looking to oust "fraudsters" however I believe it is corrupt when the law is applied to some and not all and I also believe that vigilantism is also illegal and would not be deemed as a valid defense in a court of law
