Gutted to hear about the sound not being upto it.

Naturally, we sound check before the event and all seemed okay, of course as the venue fills with several thousand people, levels can again need altered.
Unfortunately however, as I am positioned ringside, once the event starts...I only know how it sounds from my position...again, all seemed loud n clear.

A show like Saturday's takes a lot out of an MC physically...I pushed my voice to it's limit to give everyone that BIG intro...I'm gutted if they or others couldn't hear that.

As for Myk Estlick...it was a 50:50 on pronunciation and I'm sorry I got it wrong. When your corner team arrived at the ring I asked them to confirm pronunciation and I corrected it from there on.

If I'm on the next one, I'll give the fighters a slip for them to write out their name phonetically if there is any doubt and I'll make sure that either the dj or another member of event staff can report if the sound is being distorted by the throngs of blood thirsty fight fans!
