As Steve Broome, rightly points out. There is some major names and great matches have been made in the past to compete for these belts. Jackson Barkhouse has been on the amateur scene for a long time and between him and his trainer have decided to stay in the background. Jackson Barkhouse may not be ranked as a "PRO" but believe me, he is of good pedigree. Just because people turn to the "PRO" scene doesn't mean all the people in the rankings are the best or even deserve to be there. There always have and always will be fighters who don't wish to operate in the "PRO" circuits, and I bet many could out perform lots who are ranked. If Jackson Barkhouse decides to go down this route, he would cause upsets to lots of matches. He recently had a good fight with Andre Kulebin losing a points decision. And as Paul Pearson says he came to win and caused Reece some problems in the opening round delivering Reece a cut to his eye which is why I believe Reece came out with a very aggressive Round 2 (which I think if he fought with that kind of aggression in other future fights or indeed had he in previous fights) I think he would cause anyone BIG problems. These titles are nice titles to have, I've just had Luke Turner contact me for my next show and he wants to compete for one of these MAD titles.
