Fight card change:

Reece Mcallister has been forced to withdraw from his scheduled bout on The Main Event for medical reasons. We have worked tirelessly over the past few days to secure a replacement and today we have confirmed:

67kg A Class – Brad Stanton (Kiatphontip, Leeds) vs Federico Alfaro (Knowsley Academy, London)

This fight sees two of the most exciting fighters in the welterweight division up against one another in an exciting clash of styles. Stanton has been making huge waves on the UK Muay Thai scene and has been tipped as a future star of the sport from the very beginning of his career. His aggressive fighting style has seen him make light work of numerous high calibre opponents in the past 12 months including Josh Palmer, Adrian Wedolowski and Sam Omomogbe. In his last fight he beat the highly rated Wayne Fisher in ruthless fashion within a round, to take his record to 21 wins from 23 fights. Facing Brad this time is a fighter who left the crowd stunned in his first fight in the UK earlier this year, with a ruthless demolition of the experienced Pindi Madahar. A former amateur World champion, Alfaro is a newcomer to England and is training under the guidance of Chris Knowles in London. With a combined record of 27 wins from 32 fights in Spain, he is keen to make an impression on the U.K circuit. His pacey, exciting, unorthodox fighting style will undoubtedly cause major problems for anyone at 67kg and he knows a win over Stanton will make a lasting impression.

We are disappointed at the loss of Reece but obviously his health must come first and we wish him a quick recovery. We are confident Federico is a more than adequate replacement and this will make for an exciting fight!

This leaves the fight card for The Main Event as follows, with 2 weeks to go:

A Class

Liam Harrison vs Greg Wootton
Panicos Yusuf vs Sergio Wielzen
Daitan Jackson vs Solomon Wickstead
Brad Stanton vs Federico Alfaro
Keith McLachlan vs Andrew Lofthouse
