tbh can you imagine if there was a no show by Froch or Groves, headline fight which people would have been up for, for months , a belter.

or if suddenly the world cup got called off.

now before I get shot down , I am not leveling blame at LH's door, he ended up in hospital - but this is not the first time a top line at a big show has gone to pot and it happens more in MT in UK than anywhere else ive seen it - don't get me wrong I think UKMT shows are the best organized and have some great crowds and fuck me they are value compared to places where i've been to see other fights (Thailand , Singapore., Holland) but there wasn't another MT fight on the bill that could match up to cover the risk of a fall-through on the Harrison/Wooton fight - the Sugden fight was k1 rules and form what I have heard it was great and he is a real top prospect.

This was a huge show with a thread that has almost 50000 views, that gives you an idea of how much people were gearing up for it. Its almost worth promoters paying another 2 high level challengers to train 8-12 weeks as last minute replacements for the main event and they get paid even if they don't fight.
Because the main event has fallen through on quite a lot of shows on here over the years. promoters need to insure their risk and reputation.

Just my thruppence worth.

If it comes to making weight and anyone wants to race me to 103kg, im just enjoying a pie.
