Muay Thai scoring courses

I will be holding a Muay Thai scoring course at the following venues in August:

Sunday August 10th 10am - 2pm
Trojan Free fighters, unit 18F, Shrub Hill industrial estate, Worcester WR4 9EL – Rich Newman

Sunday August 17th 10am - 2pm
Impact Thai Boxing & Functional Training Gym, Wharf Street, Walsall, WS2 9ES – David Cole

The above gyms are opening their doors to anyone wishing to attend one of these courses. Please show up at the venue 30 minutes prior to start time to register.

Muay Thai Scoring course

This is a hands on course which will cover correct and effective scoring techniques in addition to teaching the rules & regulations governing Muay Thai scoring. This course will benefit fighters, coaches and anyone who wishes to receive a better understanding of scoring in Muay Thai. *Please note that this is not a judging course

Course content
Introduction
• Muay Thai scoring criteria
• How to effectively score using:
1. Kicks
2. Knees
3. Punches
4. Elbows
5. Clinch
6. Off balancing
7. Trips
• Scoring strategies (offensive & defensive)
• Fouls

Cost = £30

Certificates of attendance will be presented upon completion of the course.

Further courses will be made available throughout 2014 across the UK.
