Sandee UK Junior Open Championships

2015 will see the dawn of a new era for Junior Muay Thai in the UK, with the launch of the Sandee UK Junior Open Championships.
Sandee Thailand sees its brand positioning & focus driven around grassroots Muay Thai, in supporting Gyms - the lifeblood of the sport & Junior’s – the future of the sport. The brand hopes that the Sandee UK Junior Open Championships will elevate the sport across the junior ranks, with some significant investment and driven by the following key factors:

• Safety
• Good & fair competition
• Honesty & integrity

With the officials trained independently by the IBMTO, there will be a series of 3 events to find out who are the true best ranked Juniors across the UK, within their weight & age classification. Sandee’s investment means the very best venues have now been secured giving competitors and spectators alike the best possible experience in a safe & fun environment.

THE CONCEPT

• Sandee NORTHERN OPEN – 21st February 2015 – George Carnell Centre, Manchester

• Sandee SOUTHERN OPEN – 28th February 2015 – Watford Woodside Centre, Watford
After these 2 regional events, finalists from each region will then be invited to compete in the Sandee GRAND FINAL, which will see the best of the North & South compete to identify the true No.1 Junior fighter in the UK within their respective weight & age category.

• Sandee GRAND FINAL – 28th March 2015 – Fenton Sports Complex, Stoke-on-Trent

Ages: 5 thru 17 years
Categories: in 2kg & 2 year segments
Rounds: 5 x 1 minute rounds

There will be further announcements regard the Sandee UK Junior Open Championships in the coming days & weeks, which will detail the prizes on offer, as well as the full information on how to enter.
