Despite the drizzle and rain, the show must go on and it sure did. Thank you to the Wat Mahathat Temple for giving us the opportunity to put on a Thai Boxing Show as part of the Thai-British Summer Fair. Thank you to all the monks and helpers who worked behind the scenes quietly and proudly. Massive thank you to John Steele, Stoke Thaiboxing and his team for the use of your ring and all your crew who helped pull everything together with me. Thank you to all the fighters, trainers and coaches who gave up your Bank Holiday weekends to help put on this show, personal thanks to; Richard Oxley and everyone from Richies Gym, Leigh Edlin and the Chao Phraya Lincoln team, Raf Hussain and the 8 Limbs Muay Thai team, Garry Jones and your team from Hereford Muay Thai, Steve Logan and the K-Star team, John Steele and your Stoke Thaiboxing fighters, Dean James and your team from Diamond Academy and Lee & Igor and the OMAA team.

Thank you's also go our to our IBMTO officials; Shaun Boland-MC, Scott Robinson, Liam Robinson, Daniel McGowan and Macauley Coyle. James Buckland - Photographer, Adam Barratt & Kathy Allen from North East Rescue & Medical Services and Chris Evans from Pulse Disco.

Finally, I want to thank all the gyms who gave me your fighters names and wanted to be on our show, unfortunately we were not able to match everyone.

We had 2 demo bouts and 5 great C Class fights. Everyone entered into the true Thai spirit and supported all the fighters. Then when all was finished and everyone had packed up and left the heavens opened with a good old Bank Holiday Monday downpour. My prayers were answered that everything went well, with no set-backs.

Picture above shows some of the fighters on the show with 2 of the monks from the Wat Mahathat Temple, Kings Bromley.
