The next fighter to be announced for this show is 2 x World champion Michael Wakeling from the Scorpions gym in Beckenham.
Part of the famous fighting family, Michael needs no introduction to the Muay Thai stage in the UK, having fought and beaten some of the best fighters around in a career that has seen him remain undefeated for over 10 years. In 2011 Michael defended his 72.5kg WMC intercontinental title against Scotland’s Chris Shaw on our ‘Rumble at the Reebok’ event in arguably one of the best fights ever seen in England. Since then his explosive fighting style has produced wins over top tier fighters including Craig Jose and former Lumpinee champion Pajonsuk Superpro. In his last outing he took an impressive points win over kickboxing legend Ali Gunyar, en route to collecting the 75kg Enfusion World title. Currently ranked #1 in the UK 75kg independent kickboxing rankings, his professional fight record reads 31 fights with 29 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss.
Again, Michael’s opponent is confirmed and will be released shortly…..
