KTMMA makes the Chinese Connection!

Since its inception in November 2013 KTMMA the dynamic new fightsport of the 21st Century has consistently brought top class professional International talent to England’s Capital to compete against some of our finest home-grown talent. Across three events (including an initial showcase) the KTMMA promotion has brought over fighters from Europe, Japan and the United States but KTMMA 3 has raised the bar even further by having 10 incredible England versus China bouts.

The Chinese are rarely seen competing on these shores and to have 10 top Chinese fighters on one show in the UK is unprecedented but due to a ground-breaking deal between KTMMA and the Chinese promotion WLF (Wulinfeng) London will showcase 4 KTMMA rules and 6 WLF kickboxing rules bouts in March. This deal is a major coup for the KTMMA team as Wulinfeng, founded in 2004, is the most prestigious and largest combat sports event in China. The company has held hundreds of events all over the world, including Beijing, Shanghai, Tokyo, Las Vegas, Hamburg, New Zealand, Kuala Lumpur, Thailand, Ireland and Seoul.

Wulinfeng is also renowned as a great televised sport-entertainment programme that attracts not only sports fans but also many regular TV viewers and KTMMA 3 will be broadcast in China by Henan TV to over 150 million viewers. Transmitted by the satellite“Zhongxing 6B”, the HNTV signal can be picked up from Europe, Asia, and Oceania, reaching 53 countries in total, 72% of the world’s population.

Wulinfeng’s stated aim is to build an international platform, to promote China’s martial arts to the world and this is exactly what will be happening on Saturday 14th of March when the ILEC Conference Centre in Earls Court London will play host to this epic England versus China fight-night with the Capital getting its first taste of WLF rules Kickboxing as KTMMA truly goes global. This is quite simply an event not to be missed as our finest English fighters ready themselves for the Chinese invasion and the opportunity to become global stars as they make the Chinese connection!
