The promoter/s do not owe anything don't be silly, this is a full contact sport where you get kicked, kneed and elbowed in the face, you and you alone decide to fight and if you do then you yourself are putting yourself and your body at risk and you know that. The promoter take no responsibility for peoples injuries, if everyone that got cut, broken arms or legs asked for a pay out we wouldn't have a sport at all. I've broken my arm, suffered outrageous cuts, had my knee cap volleyed out and not been able to work and have lost jobs due to injuries in the sport, if you don't want to risk getting hurt then don't do it simple as that. Yes the canvass was slippy but everyone else managed to be ok therefore it isn't to blame for the injury. Keith landed a perfectly legal technique and unfortunately for poor Paul it cause a lot of damage and lost him the fight. It's not what we want to see and everyone wishes Paul a fast and speedy recovery, but to say that its Brian and the Yokkao guy's responsibility to pay him out is outrageous.
